Grandfather Fire and the Circle of Animal Brothers
In that time before there was Time, there was Grandfather Fire. Around Grandfather Fire sat the Circle of Animal Brothers, and beyond them. . . the Darkness. In the Circle of Animal Brothers, there was Eagle, Raven, Owl, and then there was Gander. There was Bear, Panther, Deer, and then there was Horse. There was Turtle, Fire Lizard, Snake, and then there was Spider. There was the Two-Legged. And each in their turn spoke their tellings in that common yet sacred language of Spirit. Through these tellings Grandfather Fire gave rise to the nature of Creation...

Known as a 'Yupa', this is the equivalent of your Christmas Tree. My children, Lennon and Fiona, and I set this up up recently in our home, where it will remain till February 2nd.
The Yupa is a Shamanic Sacred Tree. The pole roots in Earth and extends through the hoop, which symbolizes the Worldly Dimension of Life, and extends into the Celestial Realms. Seven notches (blue) upon the pole represent the 7 domains of spiritual… Continue

- wow long ago i met you at joshua tree national park there was agroup of people and i had come with a jim laird and phil sniderman you had a sweat and i got to be firetender guess it would of been 1988-89 i have always wondered where you went i now do shamanic drum circles and shamanic healing work and quarterly do a sweatlodge take care hohanna running waters
