Gift of the Heart

Gift of the Heart

I Knocked on the door to Robert's house, hoping I would have the courage to ask the question, hoping that this time, the lump of grief that had taken permanent residence at the base of my throat would not interfere and choke my opportunity to make my request. I had tried so many times before. And so many times before, that dreaded lump of grief stole my voice, denying… Continue

Father's Day

Today is the first day of Summer 2009 and Father's Day. I am re-admiring a hand made card from my youngest child, Celeste. She created it when she was 7. She's 20 now. The outside of the card displays a hand colored heart with the words, "I Love You DaD" printed out in black crayola. "We have a global family". MMontoya I concur! With an Irish/German wife and adopted kids from Korea, Russia, Honduras and hosting exchange students from Japan! You've had a international adventure while caring for orphaned children from around the world. Domo Arigato, Mahalo, Thanks for the comments on war and the WWhitefeather videos.

Hey Mushroom Montoya, thanks for the comment on my story. Yes, I specifically wrote it in "repetative fashion" so that it could be told aloud in "old style story telling fashion".

Hello Brother,
Thanks for joining in on this community collective of international people.
I am interested in knowing more about the fungus that cleans up contaminated soil. Do you know anything about this? I saw a TED clip once with an Ethnobotanist speaking of this.

I think it would be good for more people to know of this method.
