Thank you for acknowledging our friendship.
May all go well for your intended move to Turkey. When I think of moving, I like to think in terms of positive forward movement. We can not "move back" to a place from where we have come. This reinforces the reality that everything is in a state of change and that we are making choices to create our desired reality. I have not traveled that far, so when I think about Turkey, I have many illusions.
It has been four years since I was in Peru. My guild, teacher, and friend was Jade Wahoo. We landed in Lima and then flew to Pucallpa to meet our Ucayali river guide. After getting set up at our base camp, we picked up our Shipibo shaman, Carlos and his family, then traveled several days down river into the jungle to a sacred ceremonial site. We camped there for three days/nights of Ayahuasca ceremony. Jade is preparing to take a trip to Peru as we speak, leaving on April 11th, but he will be not be taking the same path. The Shipibo shaman, Carlos, died last year making way for finding a new destination and shaman. Jade has not spoken to me about attending the Conference. Having not been to Iquitos, or a Shamanic Conference, I am not much for helping you with advice, but Jade might have something to offer. I am wondering about your time frame. What is the relationship of your staying in Peru for two months and the Shamanic Conference in July? It would be ideal to attend the conference first, to meet the various shaman, and then spend the duration of your stay with the persons of choice. I have just started my own investigation on this topic and have yet to figure out the possibility of going. Howling Woman has also spoken to me about attending, as she has a strong desire to go. As I view and absorb the intricacies of design and color displayed in your painting, I find much of the symbolic imagery mirrors my own points of prespective. Wow I finally saw your other paintings! You paint like I dream!
Hi Elif,
My dream was during healing work I was doing as an emotion transformational healer. I was dubbed the Grail maiden by some people I worked with and called "a piece of the heart of the Mother of everything the piece that loves her." so I was having fire from the heart dreams for a while. I am very passionate. I am working on storytelling right now as theatre in your livingroom type piece. I love intimated theatre. The piece was inspired while I was in a faerie glen in Scotland. They are four stories for caregivers about four people I dd healing work with. hope to someday meet you and share our art. More later.
