The world's oldest human figure, found in Germany
This little Venus-figure is about 2.4 inches and 40 000 years old. This mammoth-ivory carving was found in Germany in September 2008 and is guessed to be the world's oldest piece of art ever found.
To me it seems to be a sign (one more) for the comeback of the feminine power. The return of the matriarchs so to say.

I just got home from Wellington,, been there for few days, and just been totally absorbed in our Peace March's here, that launched on Ghandis birthday and went just great! So after yesterdays successful event, early this morning, the "Core Group" from the World Peace March for Non Violence; left from the marae, we were all staying at; for Australia, and on to the rest of the world...carrying, the 'torch' for Peace on earth and positive peace!
