It is with thankfulness that spirit has guided me into the realms of music that you have provided on this site. I have just completed a trek in Peru, that took me over the Andes Mts. into the jungles and tributary valleys of the Amazon River. There I met with the Matsiguenga tribal people who have lived on the Upper Madre de Dios River in a close cooperative relationship with their jungle environment for thousands of years. I enjoyed walking through the rain forest with our guides, learning about the inter-relationships of the peoples to the plants and animals. To get to the heart of their cultural understandings about their relationship to the divine where life is view as a continuum with out abstract divisions between physical and spiritual realities, I engaged in their visionary Ayuhwaska ceremonies for three consecutive nights. This was a most profound engagement with the spiritual realms. It will take me awhile to evaluate and communicate the profoundness of this visionary experience. At the present time, I will just say, it was an extremely uplifting, enlightening, and sacred experience.

The last few days, since I got back home, have been deeply introspective. I have not even left the house. I can not remember a time that I have felt so fragile, emotional, and sensitive to the chaos of this culture that stands in opposition to the light of Love. My present desire is to just sit with the energy of divine love before moving into any creative processes. I intuit that I am very much needed by the people in my world, and that is happening. But for now, it is part of my immediate need to rebuild my psychic connections to ordinary reality.

The tracks of soul music that you have gifted are magically weaving the threads of my thoughts and emotions into a fabric of balanced understanding.
I hope to one day sit at your fire and warm in the blessing of friendship.
