DESCRIPTION:After a packed-house concert in January followed by overwh
 elming reviews, Point Reyes resident Tim Weed is very excited to bring
  his band back to the Dance Palace for an encore performance on Saturd
 ay, April 11th. This time around however they will be joined by their 
 master percussionist from Brazil, Poranguí Carvalho. According to Wee
 d, \"Poranguí has SO much fire, passion, and joy in his playing and s
 pirit that inspires and uplifts our music to a whole new level\".\nSou
 lful vocals and beautiful harmonies; banjo, mandolin, guitars, bass, v
 iolin and a host of exotic percussion; their concerts take audiences o
 n an adventurous journey through highly varied musical terrain and exo
 tic soundscapes.\nAt 7:00 we'll start with an interactive performance 
 featuring Poranguí. The Tim Weed Band will perform at 7:30, and after
 ward we'll have an informal celebration for Tim's 50th birthday with i
